The Mentality of the early Christians was tied to only one thing which is the Preaching of Christ to the lost in all the cities and villages they found themselves. They were not moved by persecutions, afflictions, threats of death: they were fully committed to the great commission.
Acts 8:3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Unlike Churches nowadays which will rather major on the minor and minor on the major. The work of evangelism in churches today is almost going extinct which is a proof that the Love for God is waxing cold.....
As a believer, you are to be committed to this call. You were saved by hearing the message of the gospel from a person, you should also do same. Let men see Christ in you everywhere you go.
THE MESSAGE
In the Christian Journey, close friends, family members, loved ones will forsake you but the Lord Jesus will never forget nor forsake you, He will be with you from the beginning even till the end of the age.
Don't put your hopes on men but rather set your eyes on Jesus. Always see him smile by bearing fruits of righteousness, win souls to His Kingdom, disciple men in truth and live a consecrated Life.
Never do things to impress men!
