Lessons from the life of Joseph2

A few lessons from Joseph 2 Contd

4. Once a man's vision becomes very clear to him, he can never be silent about it. He'll always want to voice out, declare and tell everyone about his calling. This also happened to Joseph. Though the meaning of his dream wasn't fully clear to him, he had a glimpse of it and he was loud about it. He kept telling his brothers about it and his father was also aware of it.

5. When you view your visions and plan to people, don't be surprised it's those who you're very close to that'll be against you fulfilling such plans. In Joseph's case, his brothers were against him fulfilling his dreams to the extent of being willing to Kill him.
Once you get a hold of your vision, be careful of those you air them to. The devil always take advantage of men closer to you, your associates, your family, friends, even pastors to sway you away from your divine destiny.

6) In your journey to fulfilling purpose, some dissappointments are actually God's channel to lead you to your destiny. Joseph's brother sold him as a slave to Egypt, they thought they've done him harm not knowing it's a means to saving their own souls.

Genesis  45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.

45:6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.

45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

Your discernment must be alive and active to know the setbacks and dissappointments that are actually blessings or otherwise!
