Love & Assembly of Saints

The Christian life raises the standard of living a Puritan, morally inclined life so high that many detest living by it.

"YOU'VE GOT THE INDWELLING, YOU'VE GOT TO REFILL"
A man always full of God's Spirit will never run dry of accurate revelations and power, hence the need for a constant, continuous infilling of the Holyspirit

Such a man's sensitivity to spiritual things is heightened and the wisdom required to navigate through a dark world filled with evil men gets supplied to his consciousness real time & at all times.

Such a man is fully alive in God and highly favored.

Ephesians  5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

The last verse is one of the ways you refill your vessel, same way your battery gets charged per time

"ON FLESHLY APPETITES"
Be intentional about doing away with things that wages war against your soul & mind.

The lust and unguarded wants(avarice) for things that are appealing to the natural eyes but in God's eyes are detrimental to your walk with HIM.

The lust of the flesh; sexual immoralities, homosexuality, malice, bitterness, hatred, anger, drunkenness, thoughts that spurs up guilt, condemnation & inferiority.

These sins clogs the flow of God's power from the believer's reborn spirits to the body as a result of the consciousness such acts spurs up.

We are urged in the epistles to sanctify our hearts and set it apart for the Lord - "1 Pet 3:15KJV"

Our minds should be instruments of righteous service to God and not chambers where mundane thoughts which conceives lust and then births myriads of ungodly acts in the natural are formed.

We are to present not just our bodies as living sacrifices unto God but also our minds.

The grace to live righteous has already been supplied; it is left for God's children to reckon their members (bodies & minds) as tools serving righteousness only.

Bible reading "Rom 12:1-2KJV"

STEWARDS OF GOD'S GRACE"
In the Parable of the ten talent, it's clearly seen that we believers are all stewards of the manifold graces of God.

God has given we his children certain graces according to our capabilities.

God's Spirit has been invested as a capital into our hearts

We've received the word as an empowerment for the ministry (of reconciliation) that is set before us in His vineyard,

Not only so, we've also been granted free access and liberty to use the Name of Jesus which is our signet of authority over all things.

God expects we his stewards to take full advantage of these investments (His Spirit; His Word; His Name; His giftings) to yield a bountiful harvest of souls and to nourish (feed) the flock we've been given an oversight over;

to be fruitful, resourceful and fully committed to the divine assignment of stewardship and servanthood.

In the Parable, it was clearly shown that those who do more for God in this life will be greatly rewarded and given authorities and powers over God's possessions and estate in the afterlife

While those who are lazy, slothful and unserious with the divine assignment committed to their hands will receive great punishment, rebuke and damnation.

Their giftings (the slothful ones) will also be stripped off them and given to those who are considered faithful and good servants.

We believers, as managers of the graces, endowments and gifts of God (revelatory gifts; power gifts; gifts of utterance, resources), should always be ready to commit our all to God's service, not giving excuses for our indolence.

He that is faithful in little, the same is faithful in much.

Bible reading "Luke 19:12-27KJV"

"PEACE SOURCED IN PLACE OF PRAYERS"
When your soul is troubled and weary, spend time praying in tongues till peace floods your heart.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep(garnish) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Shortly after the Spirit of God was poured upon the disciples in the upper room, they started moving in the gifts of the Spirit, doing miracles, signs and wonders with ease thus adding more people to the fold.

There was something the disciples knew that triggered the immediate functioning of the enduement in them.

It was the assurance of the mighty power in the Name of Jesus. They had so much faith and trust in the authority vested upon that precious Name.

We believers of this age always try to do the works of God with our own wisdom, abilities and power.

That's the major reason behind the inadequacies seen in the fold today. It can only be done by anchoring our belief in Christ and not ourselves.

The Chronicles of the Pharisees; the pretenders, hypocrites.

Matthew 23KJV

Turns out their seeds still abide on the face of the Earth till this day as preachers, apostles and so called Christians on social media.

Don't be like the Pharisees; serve God same way Christ and the chiefest apostles did.

"A LIFE OF SERVITUDE"
The greatest ambition one can have is to serve Christ mightily with all heart, soul, mind and spirit and being a faithful & fruitful worker/servant in God's vineyard (kingdom) here on earth.

It is not in a man's possession of myriads of certifications or in securing a top-notch job that grants a hundred bucks of dollar returns per month or acquiring jets and several articles of ostentations.

The former has an eternal scope and value and will at the end determine one's fate in the afterlife (at the renewal of all things) while the latter, (though will grant one comfortability & luxury in this life) is ephemeral, passing away with this world and it's evil thereof.

Set your heart in Heaven where Christ is seated at God's right hand and not on the things of this world.

"LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR"
If any man hates his neighbor without a cause or for some reasons, such person should examine himself thoroughly whether his heart is in a right shape in the truth or not.

We believers are expected to always walk in love; when defrauded, when ostracized, when tongue -lashed, ill-treated, assaulted by people.

It's a hard/difficult task for a believer who isn't submitted to the tutilage of God's Word [especially if such folk is not leaning on the help of God's Spirit] to love; even though such person already have love as his nature(agape)

It's a supernatural (Zoe) life; & it affects our deeds, character and attitudes and walk here on earth.

"RESISTING PRIDE"
A man basking great in ministry should do all he can to prevent/get rid of the spirit of pride, egocentrism or arrogance that cunningly crawls it's way into the heart, else it reduces such man and at the end destroy him.

"CONVERGING OF SAINTS"
The believers assembly (the Church of Christ) is the most powerful community here on earth and even in the heavens.

There is so much anointing released when two or more persons who believe in the resurrection and the Name of Christ converge to fellowship or pray.

That assembly of saints builds up an energy ambience, a circumference filled up with light such that anything sickly or dead which finds its way to such gathering receives life and strength.

The Church on earth is a cloud and a pillar of power. Our inadequate knowledge of the power hidden in the authority given us in Christ's Name is the sole reason why over the years, we've been termed nonessential

Those who know how to take full advantage of the Name of Jesus always truimph over all situations.

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

'ON CONVERGENCE'
Where the carcass is, there the eagles are gathered

Where the Word of God is, there his children are gathered

Where the Spirit, the Wisdom, the Power and the Glory of the Lord is, there the sons and daughters of God are converged

Genesis  49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh(Christ) come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

"HOW WE OUGHT TO CONDUCT OURSELVES WHEN WE GATHER"
1 Corinthians  14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

When saints gather, it's a time for fellowship, intimacy & deep communion not just with the Holyspirit but with ourselves.

It's a time for edification, exhortation and comforting.

A time to rekindle the dying flames of fire and zeal in one's heart, sharpening one another as iron sharpens iron

A time to prophecy, to reveal what's in God's mind concerning the Church and concerning ones personal walk with God.

A time to explore the wealth and abundance of the revelations in the Word; baking of fresh bread from Heaven and sharing in the communion.

A time to pray

When believers gather and all they do is talk about weightless matters,

hire comedians to perform on podiums just to stir the fold to laughter

organize myriads of shows and activities that has no bearing on spirit edification

talk only on giving, spending 2/3rd of the fellowship time on dancing and shouting only

then it's a sign that gathering lacks the knowledge of God's Word as regards the gathering of saints.

It's a sign of misplaced priorities.

When a man looses zeal for the gathering of saints in Church, it's a sign such is sickly, just as it is in the natural when one lacks the appetite for food.

When one thinks he already has all the revelations he needs for the walk of faith and he doesn't really need fellowship with other saints cos of their inadequacies in knowledge as compared to his, such a man is under the spirit of pride.

Hebrews  10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

"RESTING ON GOD'S LOVE"
Observing closely the life of John the beloved, you'll see he termed himself 'the disciple Jesus loved' in his own documented writings about Christ in his book ' The gospel of St John'. The phrase is not captured in the other three accounts of Jesus's ministry (the gospels) except his.

The truth is, he(John) saw himself as the disciple mostly loved by Jesus. He would always lean on the bosom of Christ, while at supper or when a teaching is going on.

At the crucifixion of Christ, he was the only discipline present, while the others already fled for their lives.

The Apostle John affirmed fully his love for the master and had a strong perception of God's unlimited love towards him.

He kept affirming this love till it became not only an awareness but a full assurance in his spirit & consciousness.

As a result of this, he was accounted worthy to be shown prophetic pictures, visions and sacred writings of things to come (as written in his apocalypse, also revelations), the end of the age and life even after the resurrection.

He(John the beloved) was also entrusted with mighty revelations of Jesus even more than fellow apostles and prophets of his time.

We as believers are not just to confess our love for Christ, we are to affirm his immeasurable love that has been lavished on us daily, at all times.

The constant, continuous affirmation of God's love towards us as seen in his Word triggers the release of greater revelations of Jesus to us.

When we go deep in fellowship and then furnish our hearts with the thought of the depths of God loves towards us, Christ reveals himself to us more and more.

Even in the natural, a woman only opens her all to the one who is loved by her and who also loves her immeasurably
