NUGGET 1:If what you're being taught in your church is not centered on Christ and His finished works(resurrection); interpretation of Scriptures (hermeneutics), Biblical homiletics, and expounded theological exegeses of the old covenant writings in the light of Christ, then you're not attending church but a seminar. A Pastor can teach principles (of wealth, success), excellence in marriage, business e.t.c but that should never be the hub of his message to believers

NUGGET 2: What makes a man mature in Faith is his ability to live by sound doctrine. If all you do is listen, meditate and live life according to sound doctrines, you are a worthy believer in the sight of Christ and your access to the benefits in salvation is multiplied! On the other hand, if all you do is listen to motivations in church, such words will just stir you up for that moment and like a bad seed, it wont produce fruits of righteousness in your living.

NUGGET 3: If all your desires in life are centered on earthly excellence: getting certificates, having a good wife/husband, having money to settle your bills and you're not kingdom focused; you do not have a heart of intimacy with God, no passion to see souls won to the kingdom, no passion towards giving your time, energy and resources to the Church, no burdens for the things of God, Then you're of all men most miserable! You're like Esau, who sold his birthright(a spiritual endowment) for porridge(earthly possessions)
